Lesson in Romance

I picked Jayden up from school today and he looked a little grumpy..I asked him what was wrong and he said Hunter likes Rune too..
Jayden: Hunter says that he's going to take her on a more romantical date than me..he says his date is better than mine..then he spit in my face.
Me: Well that's not nice did you tell your teacher say?
Jayden: She just told me to tell him not to do that
(YES his teacher has horrible consequences and I am NOT happy)
Me: Well I think Rune likes you more. What makes hunter think his date is so special?
Jayden: He says hes going to take her to his house..but that's not a date. for a date you have to take the girl somewhere nice..girls like that.
My brother is better at dating than most guys my age

So yesterday I went to pick my brother up from school in my dads car, (mom and dad were in Vegas so dad was letting me use his car)
The teacher didn't recognize me as Jayden's big sister, since I'm usually in the truck. I yelled out the window and said "I'm here to get Jayden" she called into the class and I was waiting for Jayden to come.
A boy in his class named Hayden comes out and stands at my window for a minute and I'm thinking that he's going to ask if Jayden can have a play date but the poor kid looks like hes going to cry..then he gets in the car and I asked him if he was okay..he starts tearing up and says "you aren't my mom..". Then, I finally realize that the teacher thought I said Hayden..She was SO embarrassed and said "thank the lord you aren't some crazy kidnapper". Then she sent Jayden out and he is laughing..then he says "Hayden thought he was your brother...but he can't do that because you are MY sister.." 

Young love...

Picked Jayden up from school and he had a big goofy grin on his face..
Me: You look like you had a good day
Jayden: Yeah..
Me: Well what made it such a good day?
Jayden: Rune told me she likes me.. (He's turning a little bit pink)
Me: Oh yeah? She's a pretty cute girl. 
Jayden: She even gave me a kiss on the ear!
Me: (trying my hardest not to laugh) Did you like the kiss?
Jayden: (as red as a tomato) Yes..

You know your around kids to much when....

Now most of these may or may not be true..but I hope some can relate :) 

You know you are around kids to much when/You know your a stay at home mom (or sister) when..

• Bodily functions don't freak you out as much as they should. 
• You don't realize how long your hair has gotten because it's always in a pony tail
• You pour yourself a "kid sized" amount of cereal 
• No wippes? No problem..spit bath!
• You hear noises and automatically wonder why in the world would kids be up at 2 a.m
• You get more excited about a new cartoon movie rather than a "grown up" movie
• Cereal is an acceptable meal at anytime.
• When dropping kids off..you look at other moms and wonder how the hell they can have their hair and makeup done, clothes clean, and kids put together before 9:00 
• You argue with kids about bedtime..on the weekend. 
• At the park you have the urge to tell random kids to "stop climbing that you're going to break your neck"
• You go shopping for yourself, end up leaving with 1 thing for yourself..and a cart full of things for the kids
• You just watched an episode of the fairly oddparents..by yourself.
• Sleeping in is sleeping until 8 a.m
• NOTHING moves faster than you when you hear a little one cry..your also ready to call 911.

Kids pick their noses. It's just what kids do..I have never met a kid that doesn't pick their nose! Jayden has been boogery the last few days and the other day he was picking his nose when he pulled out a huge slimy booger (I told you, read at your own risk.) He stands up with the biggest smile on his face, wiggles his finger and says "Look it dances!" I still can't decide if I'm disgusted or extremely amused. You know your around kids to much when..... ;)
